Our Fave Fall Sweaters this Season
November 9, 2016Who doesn’t love cozying up with a cup of hot cocoa, talking a walk through the changing leaves, or gathering around a bonfire on a brisk night? Sweater weather is better weather. That’s just a fact.
We’ve gathered the sweaters that are on the top of our must-have list for a perfect late-fall wardrobe.
Turtleneck
The turtleneck has come a long way in its time, and we’re glad this fashion staple is back in style. Keep your favorite dresses in rotation a little longer this by wearing a turtleneck underneath. Neutral colors tend to give you the most outfit options, but a patterned turtleneck will bring life to muted dresses.
Graphic Sweater
The adult cousin of the graphic tee, we’re loving statement sweatshirt sthis season. Warm and sassy, sweatshirts with simple sayings look great juxtaposed with skirts. We’ve seen style-gurus rocking them with everything from a plain black skirt, to fun printed maxi skirts, plaid pencil skirts and everything in-between.
Oversize
Having a go-to oversized knit sweater makes bad weather and Mondays infinitely more bearable. Throw it on with a pair of jeans and some flat boots for an instant outfit, or add a scarf and some cute jewelry for a more put-together look.
Cable
The cable knit sweater is a classic for a reason. The best way to dress during fall is in layers, and the cable knit sweater is versatile enough to work with a range of outfits. It looks adorable both on its own and worn under a plaid or solid button up, and goes with jeans or a skirt in an equally fashionable manner.
The lace-up
A sweater with lace ties on the side is both flirty and trending. Make this part of your go-to date night outfit by pairing it with a bold leather pencil skirt and a pair of stiletto boots.
