The Best NYC Events in November
November 2, 2021This month, give thanks for our guide of the best NYC events in November 2021.
The Rink at Rockefeller Center
Set to open on Saturday, November 6, tickets to skate at The Rink at Rockefeller Center are already available. The famous event space will be open daily from 9am until midnight, with admission prices ranging from $20-$54 per person depending on the date and time of day. As always, skate rentals are available for $10.
NYC Winter Lantern Special
This season, the NYC Winter Lantern Festival is returning with not one, not two, but three major events that will help brighten up the winter blues. The first is a drive-through experience at the Nassau County Museum of Art dubbed “A Bug’s Night,” an illuminating experience that will let you explore over 20 acres of vivid lanterns and festive holiday lights. Adding to that first festival will be an escape at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center on Staten Island. The botanic garden will be illuminated for over eight acres and will feature a live DJ, projection mapping, food vendors, and more. All three Lantern Festival installations will run nightly through Sunday, January 9.
The Dyker Heights Christmas Lights
Every year, over 100,000 people (yes, that many people!) flock to the Dyker Heights Christmas Lights display in Brooklyn to witness some of the most over-the-top Christmas lights in the country— think: huge inflatable Santas, massive snowmen, and houses that blast Christmas carols from loudspeakers. There is a lot to explore, as there are tens of thousands of lights, so make sure you come prepared with snacks and toasty drinks!
